Description

From the Gersau boat station, the route leads us towards the church, then up to Büöl and the "Toothache Chapel". Behind the chapel, the path continues to Sellen. Already here we have a first wonderful panoramic view over Gersau and the lake. We take the path over the Trid. After a while, the forest opens on the right side. Those who dare can cautiously go out to the climbing rocks there and enjoy the "breath-taking" view. But please with utmost caution! Hold children's hands!

Via Föhnenberg, we reach Ochsenalp. A break is definitely worthwhile here! It is the height and viewpoint highlight.

After a short, wide hillside path, a path leads through the forest to Buechgrindlen. Attention: a short section here is steep but well secured with ropes.

After Buechgrindlen, the path goes through the ravine to the signpost towards Rotzingel. Past Rotzingel, the path leads along the stream back to the village.

Note: So that future generations or tomorrow's hikers can enjoy the path, we ask you to take your waste with you again.
