Circular route to the cycling route churches

From Hohentengen we start at the town hall square (parking available) and cycle along the High Rhine route on the German side to Lienheim, Reckingen, and Rheinheim.

In the middle of the town, directly at the customs border to Switzerland, is the Catholic St. Michael's Church. Continuing towards Waldshut, we cycle to Kadelburg and must turn right onto Bergstrasse in the town centre (before the right bend). It is a somewhat steep climb - but once you arrive at the Protestant Bergkirche in Kadelburg - the view over the Rhine Valley is rewarding.

Step inside, experience soothing silence, and recharge for the next part of your journey – and for everyday life. In the cycling route churches, you will find texts to reflect on, prayer and guest books, and a Bible. For cyclists, there are always muesli bars and drinks available.
