Circular hike Vella - Triel - Vella

From the bus stop you go past the Sogn Roc chapel up to the upper edge of the village of Vella. Shortly after the last farm, the gravel road branches off towards Triel. At Nulens, the path crosses the forest and then continues as a hiking trail up through the Uaul Quader. Upon reaching the edge of the forest, step carefully out of the woods; with a bit of luck, you can observe marmots on the alpine meadow. Further on you head towards the Triel mid-station, from where you have a wonderful view over the whole Lumnezia.

The return route starts with a short piece on the asphalt road towards Crusch. At the Maiensässhütten "Treis aclas", which means the three Maiensässhütten, a hiking path begins on the left side. After just a few minutes the path crosses a gravel road. Follow the road to the left up to the Maiensässhütten below the mid-station. From there, a hiking trail leads down across the pastures towards Trutg and Vella.
