Circular hike Vella - Triel - Vella

From the post office stop, walk past the Sogn Roc chapel and up to the upper edge of the village of Vella. Shortly after the last farm, the dirt road branches off in the direction of Triel. At Nulens, the path crosses the forest and then continues as a hiking trail up through the Uaul Quader. Once you reach the edge of the forest, step carefully out of the woods and, with a bit of luck, you may spot marmots on the alpine meadow. Continue towards the Triel middle station, from where you have a magnificent view of the whole of Lumnezia.

The way back begins with a short stretch on the asphalt road towards Crusch. At the “Treis aclas” mountain huts, which means “three mountain huts”, the hiking trail begins on the left-hand side. After just a few minutes, the path crosses a dirt road. Follow the road to the left until you reach the Maiensäss huts below the middle station. From there, a hiking trail leads down across the pastures towards Trutg and Vella.
