Circular hike Mettmen - Leglerhütte SAC

The hike starts at the mountain station of the Kies-Mettmen aerial cableway. After a short ascent, you reach the Garichti reservoir lake and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the lowlands. Fireplaces at the lakeside invite you to linger and on warm days even to bathe.

Along the lakeside, the hike continues towards the Kärpf bridge. This natural bridge can even be crossed when the water level is low and is a highlight for young and old.

Now it continues over the Sunnenbergfurggele to the Leglerhütte SAC. Once at the top, you will be spoiled with culinary delights and a beautiful panoramic view.

After a food break, it goes back to Mettmen. On the way back, you will pass the idyllic Ängiseeli. With some luck, you may still spot chamois, deer or other wild animals on the way.

Back in Mettmen, you take the aerial cableway comfortably back to Kies.
