Description
The route starts right in the village of Hergiswil near Willisau. After a short ascent through the neighborhood, we reach the first resting bench and are rewarded with a beautiful view of the village and the Napf region. A few more altitude meters up the hill and the "Hickern" fire pit lies ahead. At "Ober Hickeren" the path leads down into the Nollen valley. From there, beautiful country paths lead us up to "Birchbüel." At the "Birchbüel" signpost, a short detour to the Bösegg Chapel is worthwhile. We hike along the ridge towards "Honegg" and enjoy the beautiful views of the Central Swiss Alps but also towards the village of Ufhusen in the background with the Jura range. After the beautiful Honegg lime tree, the path leads down into the valley. For a short stretch, we hike along the main road before comfortably returning along the Enziwigger stream back to Hergiswil. Along this section, we pass two nice barbecue spots including toilets. First at the "Breiten" barbecue area and shortly before the village at the "Blüomatte" barbecue area.
