Circular hike along the romantic Reuss

Description
We save the visit to the pretty town of Bremgarten for last. Our main focus is the course of the Reuss River, which meanders largely towards Mellingen. Along the way, we see signs of beavers everywhere, such as gnawed or felled trees and in autumn the so-called beaver slides, which the animals use to return from the beet field to the river with their prey. With the islets and rocks, the Reuss becomes very wild and romantic just before Gnadenthal. In Gnadenthal, a visit to the monastery church is worthwhile and, of course, also to the restaurant with the idyllic garden terrace.
On the other side, we are initially somewhat above the river course until we descend at the height of Niederwil. First comes the sandbank of Fischbach, then the ferry of Sulz before we walk past the artificially created nature reserve pond of Hegnau. In Bremgarten, we take time for an extensive tour of the beautiful old town and of course for a concluding drink in one of the many restaurants and cafés.
