Chüematte Trail: sunny slopes on the Niederhorn (signaled)

From the Beatenberg Vorsass middle station, the snow-covered forest path leads up towards Flösch. After a short section through the forest, the trail leads through wide open terrain with wonderful views over Lake Thun. The trail continues through an untouched and sparse alpine forest landscape to Alp Unterburgfeld. The alpine hut with its magnificent panorama invites you to take a break. The trail then climbs a short distance along the winter hiking trail up towards Oberburgfeld. Shortly before the alpine huts, however, the trail turns eastwards towards Chüematte. The following section leads through sparse forest and a unique landscape. The trail continues to Alp Chüematte. The descent to Beatenberg / Waldegg leads along the official winter hiking trail.
