Description
From Cevio to Bignasco, follow the bike path away from the road. After the suspension bridge, there is a short section on a gravel path (about 200 meters). If preferred, you can switch to the main road before the bridge to avoid this section. At Cavergno, turn left towards Val Bavona. Up to Foroglio, known for its impressive waterfall, the climb is continuous with several flat sections. After the Roseto climb, which is a bit steeper with a 7% gradient, you can relax your legs for about 1.5 km. The last 4 km from La Bóla (km 11.5) will challenge your legs, especially between Sonlerto and Ganariente. At San Carlo, you can climb up to the Robiei cable car station and add a few extra kilometers. The short climb of just under 1.5 km has a gradient of 9%, making it perfect for the final sprint. There are several refreshment points along the route.
