The start towards Seelisberg is quiet and enjoyable. The route passes the Kreuzkapelle chapel with its Dance of Death plaque, a real rarity and beauty. Once you reach Brennwald, you switch to forest roads. After a short ascent, you reach the "Schützen-12er" hut, a rest area with a shelter and barbecue site. After a varied ride past the Oberschwand farm, the beautiful view of the Seelisberger Seeli and the Uri mountains awaits at the Scheidegg crossroads. Fantastically beautiful rock formations in a gentle forest setting await. The bike tour passes through the exact spot where the movie "Die Hohle Gasse" was filmed in the 1950s.
