Brambrüesch - Känzeli pleasure hike

The ascent in altitude is comfortably mastered on this route with the gondola from Chur. Arriving on the Brambrüesch high plateau, exactly 1,000 meters above the city of Chur, you first stroll leisurely straight from the mountain station past several mountain restaurants: Battagliahütte, VIVA berg.baiz, and Malixerhof. So if you want to enjoy the view on a sunny terrace, you have a good choice. Past the Malixerhof, the path finally goes downhill towards the Känzeli middle station. Always on the wide forest road and gently downhill, you can excellently enjoy the landscape and view. In between, you walk in the shade of the forests, then longer open sections follow. In the middle section, the panorama into the Schanfigg Valley with Hochwang, Arosa Weisshorn, Strelapass, and Weissfluh summit is particularly beautiful. Shortly before reaching Känzeli, the view to the city of Chur and the Bündner Rhine Valley opens up. From the Känzeli middle station, you can then comfortably glide back down to the valley by gondola.
