Bike route Eggberge - Fleschsee

After starting at the Flüelen post office, you ride along the main road to the AVIA gas station. There you turn left and follow the forest road to Gruonbergli. Now the road surface changes from tarmac to gravel. At the end of the road, at Chalt Brunnen, the pushing section to Untere Rüti or Försterhütte begins. After 10 minutes of riding through Gruonwald, you reach the junction «Fleschsee / Eggberge». For those who are still fit condition-wise, the ascent to Fleschsee is a must. At Fleschsee there is an opportunity to barbecue. The descent leads past Eggberge, where thereafter a steep descent through the Flüeler and Altdorfer Bannwald leads back to the starting point. Note(s): pushing section between Chalt Brunnen and Untere Rüti. Variant A: Direct descent to Flüelen in slightly more difficult terrain.
