Between Rhine source and Rhine Gorge (road)

Starting in Ilanz, we mostly take the main road to get warmed up to Tavanasa. Now things get serious. After a short time, we leave the steeply ascending road towards Brigels and take the narrow and scenic road over Capeder to the mountain village of Schlans. You can fill up water at the village fountain and prepare for the descent to Trun. The continuation on the main road is over after about five kilometers, ending the easy rolling. The side road over Axastein leads us to the well-known holiday area Obersaxen. The less busy roads leave room for the beautiful views of the mountain world of Surselva. If you want to eat at a restaurant, there are plenty of options. After a fast descent, you are back in Ilanz and can still ride through the wonderful old town here.
