Berke-Chehr

The Berke-Chehr usually starts at the bridge in Berken or at the power plant in Bannwil. Which direction you take on this circular route does not matter. Either way, the start is the destination. You walk along both sides of the Aare landscape, partly with a view of the Vogelraupfi (nature reserve). During the week, you are likely to encounter more swans than people on this path. The bridge at Berken is crossed and leads you back to your starting point on the other bank. But beware; don't forget a small detour to the Löwen restaurant in Berken.
