Barrier-free tour: Along the Frenke from Lampenberg to Liestal
Description
The starting point is the Walenburgertal-Bahn stop Lampenberg Ramlinsburg, which is barrier-free accessible. For a small refreshment, the opposite Öpfelhüsli with its diverse regional products is recommended. Shortly after, the path leads away from the main road into quiet nature, past fields, forests, and meadows.
At kilometer 1.8 - 1.9 (Talhaus) there is the option to avoid the steepest ascent via a detour through the Grüngen industrial area. After crossing the main road in Bubendorf, the route continues along quiet residential streets – with some luck, you might even catch a match of FC Bubendorf.
The path gently slopes downhill again over fields and meadows towards Liestal. Soon the first houses of the town are reached, and on a quiet residential street, it continues towards the "Burg". The last few meters of the hike end with a steep descent at the Törli, the landmark of Liestal.
