Bachsertal - Glatt

The route leads from Bad Zurzach to Rekingen, Mellikon and Rümikon to Fisibach. From Fisibach, it continues through the Bachsertal (about 8 km with a slight ascent), until you reach Neeracherried via Obersteinmaur (nature reserve with observation platform). At the roundabout, keep right towards Niederglatt, but turn left after 70 m following the stream. Across a small wooden bridge, you reach the Glatt and enjoy the ride directly along the Rhine via Höri, Hochfelden, Glattfelden (covered and nice rest area) to Rheinsfelden (about 15 km and always slightly downhill). The route runs alternately along the right or left riverbank in a very beautiful natural landscape. On the bike path, you continue to Weiach - Kaiserstuhl - Mellikon. On the village street of Mellikon, you can take a break at the Jägerhof inn (with a large bike rack and garden restaurant). The Jägerhof is located on the Veloland Rhine route. Guest rooms are available for individuals or families planning longer distances. From here, the access road leads back to Bad Zurzach.
