Description
The special feature of the ascent is the proximity to the Eiger. Like a patron saint, it towers over the alpine road to Kleine Scheidegg. From Kleine Scheidegg station, the 12km long descent over gravel roads to Lauterbrunnen begins. Occasionally, a stop is worthwhile to admire the snow-covered peaks of the Bernese Alps. From Lauterbrunnen, the path follows the Lütschine to Interlaken. Those who feel like it can continue to Lake Brienz and cool off in the turquoise water.
Unfortunately, there are no singletrails on this route.
