Alpenpanorama Trail Stage 2: Trogen - Appenzell

The stage starts at the beautiful village square of Trogen. Leaving Trogen, you hike for the first two hours to Bühler over gentle hills and through lush green meadows. The first part of the trail mostly runs on an asphalt road. Accompanied by a magnificent view of the Säntis, Lake Constance and St. Gallen, the village of Bühler follows, located between Teufen and Gais. The ascent to the two farms lower and middle Saul is steep. Continuing over hills and meadows, after about four hours the rather short stage ends in Appenzell. Colorful, historic and beautifully decorated houses adorn the streets and lanes. Culinary and artisanal specialties invite you to shop and cozy restaurants and gardens invite you to take a break.
