Description

For this tour you should plan well. From July to September there are only two buses a week, Wednesday and Saturday, from Trin to Purcs, the starting point of your route. Find out the exact dates. Alternatively, you can start your run from Trin. You trot along a wide alpine path through the sparse mountain forest and enjoy the fresh cool mountain air, while you climb higher and higher along flowering alpine meadows. The environment becomes more barren and if you pay attention to the whistles of the marmots, you can even discover them. An alpine path leads you steeply across alpine meadows to the glacier mills. If you're brave, you'll dive into the ice-cold mountain water and be fresh again for the rest of your route. There are still some challenges waiting for you: You'll run on narrow, scree-like rocky ledges along mighty cliffs, peppered with short, rope-secured passages and exposed sections. A short stop is therefore worthwhile for the magnificent views. The route remains varied until you arrive at your destination in Bargis. There you get on the bus and return comfortably to your starting point. Note: On this tour there are no drinking water fountains on the way and on the Alp Mora to fill up your water supply. So pack enough!
