Along Lake Zurich from Zurich to Rapperswil-Jona

Through towns and villages, over vineyards and directly along Lake Zurich, we cycle on our route from Zurich to Rapperswil-Jona. Along the way we pass some sights, such as the Opera House and the Chinese Garden in Zurich or Rapperswil Castle. Numerous restaurants invite us to enjoy good food with Swiss delicacies.

The route along Lake Zurich is well developed and not very demanding. Only from Erlenbach to Herrliberg do we have to overcome several elevation meters. After that, it goes leisurely and relatively flat along the lakeshore to our destination in Rapperswil-Jona. We return to Zurich at the end quite comfortably by ship or other public transport.
