Albula Tour

As it is always a little warmer in the Albula Valley than at higher altitudes, this tour is ideal when the snow above Lenzerheide still prevents bike tours. This tour is perfect for all bikers who enjoy narrow forest trails and are reasonably fit. From the Lenzerheide Tourist Office, you set off towards the golf course and on to Lantsch/Lenz. After Tschivadains, a wonderful trail takes you to Alvaschein in the Albula valley and further upstream through the tranquil villages of Surava and Alvaneu Bad to Filisur. The ascent to Schönboden is well worth it - once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a beautiful trail into the riverbed of the Landwasser Gorge. On the way back via Brienz and Lantsch/Lenz, the route alternates between climbs and flat sections, with varying degrees of difficulty.
