Älggialp Vorder Seefeld

From the Älggi parking lot the path leads to the geographic center of Switzerland. It continues over the Älggiboden, past the Alp Ziflucht towards Teltiegg. The romantic path continues through the forest to the Alp Gschwanten. From there it goes along the road to Vorder Seefeld. With the magnificent view of the Lunger and Bernese Alps, it is worth taking a break. From Vorder Seefeld to Sachsler Seefeld the hiking trail barely ascends. Along the foot of the Seefeldstöckli, Seefeldsee comes into view. The beautiful mountain lake invites you to walk around it. Depending on the position of the sun, the Brünighaupt, the Abgschütz or the Seefeldstöckli is reflected in the clear water.

From the outflow of Seefeldsee the path leads down to Älggialp. The Melchtal mountains, which from this perspective show unique shapes, are worth another look. At the mountain inn Älggialp various drinks and meals invite you to refresh yourself.
