Adventurous hike on the Graitery | At the heart of the wild Graitery

From Moutier, known for its machine tool industry, the path leads across the fields to the edge of the forest. Here the actual ascent begins. The narrow path goes through a lush forest to the metal ladders attached between the rocks. Over the ladders, you climb the last few meters up to the summit of the Graitery. This is a beautiful example of the typical geology of the folded Jura. Across the plateau, along pastures, the hike continues. The offer at the Auberge du Graitery, rustic and hearty, provides the perfect opportunity for a break. Perched between the rocks, they allow you to climb the last meters to reach the summit of the Graitery. The latter is a fine example of the particular and typical geology of the folded Jura. After this effort, the path continues on a plateau along pastures. A stop is recommended at the Auberge du Graitery which offers rustic and invigorating dishes. The path then descends gradually through the forest to reach the entrance of the Gorges de Court, then ends by crossing the village of the same name to the station.
