85.04 Breil/Brigels - Laax, Senda Sursilvana

Senda Sursilvana - 4th Stage: Breil/Brigels to Laax The fourth stage begins in Brigels. From the Brigels Lake, the route continues across open terrain towards Waltensburg. Upon arriving in Waltensburg, the path leads past the valley station, up to Andiast. From Andiast, the trail partly passes through short forest sections, heading inward towards the valley, just before the "Panixer Stausee". Continuing over alpine pastures and mountain meadows, the route heads towards the mountain village of Siat. This stretch offers fantastic panoramic views towards Ilanz and the rest of the valley. From Siat, the route proceeds through Ruschein to Ladir. This area has been inhabited for thousands of years and is known for its beautiful landscape and views. After Ladir, the trail crosses the "Val da Cafegn" before a short descent to Falera. In Falera, a visit to the Church of St. Remigius is recommended, built around 500 years ago on the magnificent cultural site of Mutta. From Falera, the tour continues across alpine meadows, reaching the endpoint of the fourth stage in Murschetg (Laax).
