Description

First, the Rhaetian Railway train winds its way up through helical tunnels and over viaducts. The ride is both comfortable and breathtaking - not least because of the legendary route, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. From the train, you can see the sledgers already on their way down the valley.

From 1800 meters above sea level in Preda, you descend 400 meters downhill to Bergün - a sledging experience that will remain in your memory. The route winds its way under the viaducts with great views of the Maiensäss village of Naz and the surrounding mountains and meanders through the wintry landscape towards Bergün, where the route slowly flattens out. As sledging takes place on the closed pass road, the route has an even gradient. This makes the longest floodlit toboggan run in Europe suitable for families with children, although care must be taken on the bends.
