Description

From Klosters village, take the Madrisa gondola to the Madrisa mountain station. On the family and leisure mountain of Klosters is Madrisa-Land, the first alpine adventure park. Continue to Saaseralp. Follow the footpath eastwards to the Zügenhüttli. On the high ridge path you reach Älpli and then Schlappiner Joch. A truly historic path and place! This route was already a battlefield during the Prättigau War in 1622 between Graubünden and Montafon. But also many goods, such as wine from Veltlin and cattle, were transported annually on the pack animal trail. From the pass, a steep descent leads south to Schlappin. In Schlappin, the Berghaus Erika invites you to refresh yourself. Directly by the lake in Schlappin there are beautiful barbecue areas. Via the alpine road or the footpath on the left side of the valley, you return along a rushing mountain stream back to Klosters village.
