Description

They sparkle in the Upper Engadin summer sun like shimmering sequins on a dress: at Furtschellas (2312 m above sea level) six small mountain lakes delight and playfully mirror the sky. Along them runs the Water Trail as a two and a half hour circular walk towards Alp Munt and back on the other side to the mountain station again. The view sweeps over the lake plateau down in the valley and up to the rocky flanks of the Corvatsch massif, while rest areas invite you to linger. At Lejin Rhodonite (near the Usteria Rabgiusa - closed in summer) our guests have a fireplace with wood and metal grill available. Sausages or cervelats can be purchased at the mountain restaurant La Chüdera. Or you can have your lunch break at Chüdera and enjoy fine Grisons specialties on the spacious sun terrace.

The fairy tale water trail for the little ones: on the way with the mountain fairy "Mara" and the goblin "Furbaz" The colorful booklet "Plitsch and Platsch" tells children an exciting story about the Water Trail.

The shortened version leads directly to Lejin Malachite, Lejin Rhodonite, Lejin S-chaglia and Lejin Epidote. The somewhat steep ascent at the beginning of the route can be bypassed this way.
