660 Alp Flix Bike

A charming and technically easy route with a long ascent to the raised bog Alp Flix. The route gently climbs along the Julia River past Tinizong, the top village of Sotgôt (below the forest). South of the village, which lies on a terrace, begins the wooded valley step that forms the boundary between Sot- and Surgôt (above the forest). Uphill on a forest path, bikers reach Rona. Through the village, the path between meadow and forest is followed to the main road. Shortly uphill, then alongside the road, riding alternates on the left and right sides of the Julia River. At the end of the plain, we return to the main road. At Sur begins the steepest part of the route: the ascent to Alp Flix. A peatland of national importance, pine forests, and colorful flower meadows characterize the high plateau with views of Piz Platta. On the cozy terrace of the restaurant, you can easily lose track of time.
