Description
From Davos, the route follows forest roads up to the Schatzalp, then on to the Strelaalp and then on an increasingly steep alpine road to the Strelapass. Here the first descent begins. It leads on a demanding single trail down to Sapün. From there the descent continues on a gravel road down to Langwies, where the next long but pleasant ascent to the settlement of Strassberg and on to the idyllic Grünsee right next to the Durannapass begins. A fun trail now leads across the plateau and then on a small alpine road down to Untersäss, where there is the possibility of changing the descent to a rugged single trail. A little below Untersäss you turn right and follow a trail to the valley station of the Schiferbahn. A gravel road now leads to Serneuser Schwendi and from there largely along the railway line to Laret. A last steep section has to be mastered until finally the Wolfgangpass on the outskirts of Davos is reached. Note: The route is fully signposted as Route 631 (Durannapass-Strelapass).
