325 Furna - Trimmiser Alp

After starting in Grüsch at the valley station of the Grüsch-Danusa mountain lifts, the route leads on riverside paths and very beautiful ascending and descending singletrails along the bank of the Landquart. From Schiers you then roll flat and comfortably to Pragg Jenaz. Here begins the steep and asphalted climb to the pretty mountain village of Furna. At the beautiful little church, a look at the impressive panorama of the Rätikon range is worthwhile. From Furna it continues uphill on the mountain road through the Grüsch-Danusa ski area to Alp Rona. Here begins a wonderful singletrail that takes us fluidly through the hilly area. In the beautiful Scära the trail joins the alp and goes very steeply downhill to the alpine path towards Stams. We continue rolling on a beautiful path through the picturesque Maiensäs settlement of Stams and then steeper downhill on the asphalt road through the villages of Says and Trimmis to the beautiful Rhine. Shortly the route now leads along the Rhine to Zizers and further to Igis to Marschlins Castle. At the Ganda the valley narrows increasingly and leads through the narrow Chlus on flat and comfortable paths back to Grüsch in Prättigau.
