Description
From the beautiful mountain village of Fideris, the route initially leads quite steeply over the paved mountain road towards the Fideriser Heuberge. After about two kilometers, the incline becomes pleasant and leads past beautiful alpine farms above the tree line. Shortly before the Arflina mountain hut, it becomes really steep again. Once at the mountain hut, a rest is worthwhile, as the mountain panorama is magnificent and invites you to linger. The following ascending singletrail is initially still partly steep and technically demanding. Some sections require pushing. But then, at around 2,200 meters altitude, the turning point of the route is reached, followed by a long and well-deserved descent. This descent is also part of the nationally known Swiss Bike Masters, route 333. Past Alp Nova, the adventurous alpine path leads down into the valley. Halfway down, the route leaves the alpine road and joins a beautiful singletrail through the forest again. In a varied ride, trail and forest path sections alternate, and at a fast pace, it continues down to Fideris, the starting point of the route.
