Description

The pure descent section can be well combined with other routes, e.g. route 325 Furna - Trimmiser Alp.

The start of the descent is at the Schwänzelegg mountain station of the Grüsch-Danusa mountain railways. At first, it goes gently down the mountain road to Alp Lengweid. Here, a beautiful path leads past the alp through the hilly landscape of Furnerberg. In Teufried, the singletrail begins towards Pendla. Initially, the trail is still leisurely flat, then it becomes really steep and tricky. The route leads through a beautiful fir forest to Pendla. At Pendla, there is a short break in the form of a good forest road up to the core part of the descent. After crossing a cow pasture, the singletrail dives down a steep wooded section and leads into the legendary seven hairpin bends down to Grüsch. In a zigzag course, it goes demanding toward the valley floor at Grüsch. The route requires good riding skills. The singletrails are in very steep terrain - caution is advised!
