Description

The name Bivio means "crossroads." Here the Julier Pass, which leads to the Engadin, and the Septimer, an old mule track to Bergell, separate. Historical paths thus lead through the highest village of the Surses. The Romans already transported their goods here. Today, Bivio stands for enjoyment of nature – and cozy snow fun.

The easy Gravella loop trail starts between the village and Residenza Plaz and runs through the open Gravella plain between the village and the Julia river. No elevation gain must be overcome on the flat trail. Nevertheless, the trail offers a wonderful view; it is nestled between Piz Neir, Piz Scalotta, and Roccabella.

The trail offers ideal conditions for beginners and children who want to learn cross-country skiing fun.

At the ice rink in Bivio, there are public toilets, changing rooms, and showers.

Which trails are open can be seen on the new winter sport report.

Cross-country ski passes for using the trails can be obtained from Tourismus Savognin Bivio Albula AG, Skischule Savognin, Bivio information office, or at sports shops in Savognin and Bivio.

Season passes for Surses, Swiss cross-country ski passes, and day tickets are also available online at https://surses.langlaufpass.ch
