From the bus stop in Röthenbach the hiking trail leads up to the little chapel Würzbrunnen. The small church is known from the Gotthelf film adaptations and is now popular for weddings. Ascending through the Looch forest you reach the restaurant Chuderhüsi, where the magnificent view of the Bernese Oberland mountain panorama makes you forget the effort. Through the Gouchere forest it goes to the highlight, the Chuderhüsi observation tower. The wooden tower is 42 meters high and offers a fantastic view. Below the observation tower there is a barbecue area. The same way back to the restaurant, then through woods and across meadows over Heimerütti and Kapfschwand it goes down to Eggiwil.
