Zollikofen Landscape Route

Along the landscape route, 36 information boards provide a lot of interesting facts. About the interaction between humans and nature, the earth’s history, the Reichenbach rule (from Rudolf von Erlach to the brewery), historical transport routes, waters and their living beings, hedges and their inhabitants, native plants and invasive alien plants (neophytes), the efforts of agriculture towards ecological management, agricultural educational institutions, and much more.

Additionally, around 50 boards give information about native and invasive plant species. The boards are illustrated and contain information on occurrence, characteristics, uses, and in some cases, toxicity.
