Woodland Educational Trail with Medicinal Plant Garden

From Uttwil train station, you can either start directly down to the lake to the woodland educational trail or take a detour to the medicinal plant garden of the Thurgau natural remedy manufacturer Max Zeller AG. Here, the effects and significance of various medicinal plants are explained, benches and a fountain in the middle invite you to rest. The garden is open year-round, but the main bloom from May to September delights both eyes and nose. Then continue along the lakeside path to the woodland educational trail. Various typical trees and shrubs of the local lakeshore vegetation are named and described here. Besides the shade-providing trees and shrubs, the only accompaniment on this path is the splashing of Lake Constance and pure idyll.
