Wisenberg route

After the Gelterkinden forest, the high plateau of the Tafeljura greets you near Rünenberg. However, the stop at the beautiful viewing terrace of the Quellhotel Bad Ramsach must first be earned with further altitude meters. The further ascent to the highlight of the route leads steadily uphill through the forest. The climb to the Wisenberg tower at 1001 meters altitude should not be missed: the viewing tower offers a dreamlike panoramic view over Baselbiet on clear days. In the distance, the Black Forest and the Vosges greet you, and the Alps seem close enough to touch. Over roots and stones, the route leads back to Gelterkinden.
