Winter walk Moosegg-Blasenfluh

A short but steep walk worth the effort: From Moosegg follow the signposted “Alpenpanorama-Weg No. 3” towards Blasenfluh. Passing the Gasthof Waldhäusern the hiking trail turns into the forest. The quite “bumpy” forest path runs along a ridge in the middle of the coniferous forest. Ridges, steeply falling slopes, and humus-poor crests shape the landscape here. Upon reaching the Blasenfluh, you can enjoy a fantastic view over Langnau in Emmental, frosted forests, and the Bernese Alps – just as the name of the trail promises. The Blasenfluh is the highest point of the municipalities Oberthal, Signau, and Lauperswil and lies at 1,118 m above sea level.
