Description

From the St. Moritz cross-country skiing center, the path leads to the Olympic ski jumping hill and then to Lej Marsch, an idyllic mountain lake in the middle of the forest. From there, the path goes down to Lake Champfèr. If conditions allow, the path across Lake Champfèr with a view of Piz Corvatsch and Piz da la Margna is a special highlight. If the lake is not yet frozen, walking along the lakeshore would be an alternative. After crossing the lake, the path branches left past the farmhouse into the forest uphill. After a short ascent, follow the winter hiking trail to the right towards Lej Nair. The path winds up through an intact coniferous forest, passes peatlands, and then reaches the lovely Lej Nair. Now the path goes down to the Olympic ski jumping hill and from there either back the same way to the cross-country skiing center St. Moritz or further along the road and the lower path parallel to the main road back.
