Description

Those starting from Iffigenalp have a long ski tour ahead. It is best to do the way to Iffigsee and further to the Wildhorn hut already the day before. After an overnight stay at the Wildhorn hut, there is nothing better than putting on the skins early in the morning and heading towards Chilchli. After about 300 meters of ascent to the Chilchli Glacier, the view opens up to the Wildhorn. Continue ascending over the Tungel Glacier to the Wildhorn Glacier. On the ascent to the summit, you can admire numerous Wallis four-thousanders. The panorama of the Mont Blanc massif, the Bernese Alps, and the Wallis Alps at the summit is gigantic. The descent over the two glaciers can be enjoyed by every skier. From Chilchli to the Wildhorn hut is the most demanding section, which however poses no special difficulty for good skiers. Further through the Iffig valley, the long descent is only moderately steep and offers great enjoyment.
