Wildenstein circular hike

Those who walk past the up to 500-year-old, gnarled oaks on the way to Wildenstein and then stand in front of the castle feel transported back to the Middle Ages. The short detour to the Sormatt waterfall (5 min.) is worthwhile (caution: the path can be slippery in icy conditions). On the plain towards Lampenberg, it becomes clear that the Basel region is not only made up of hills and valleys, but also offers a lot of space, room, and air to breathe.
