Wartenberg Castles & Vine Trail

The hike starts at the Muttenz Village tram stop. Past the fortified church of St. Arbogast, it leads up to the three imposing castles of the Wartenberg. At the castles, visitors dive into history and enjoy wonderful views. At all the castles, well-equipped barbecue areas are available for an extensive break. 

Through an area where the local Pinot Noir even won world championship honors in 2012, an excitingly designed Vine Trail leads further to Pratteln, whose charming village center with the castle will surprise many. A crowning conclusion for the children is a visit to the Jöripark playground in the center of Pratteln.
