Walk from Cantonal Hospital Aarau to Suhrerchopf

The walk passes through the green Gönhard district to the Keba ice rink, past the “rocky table” (start and finish of the Vitaparcours) and the tree nursery with the Häxehüsli. Then the path gradually ascends towards “Länzi”, past the church and up to Suhrerchopf (465 m above sea level) with a fountain, bench, fire pits, and a wonderful view of the Suhren and Wynen valleys. Afterwards, the path leads back through the forest and the impressive parklands of the Gönhard estates to Aarau. As a shortcut, the S14 can be taken towards Aarau at the Distelberg stop.
