Walk from Aarau to the Schönenwerd weir and back

River landscapes have their special charm. You repeatedly discover new things at and in the water. The Aare, with its riverbank regions and weirs as a witness to technology and progress, offers relaxing walks through a unique sediment and floodplain landscape. 

In the summer months, there is a snack wagon at the weir offering various refreshments and snacks. Alternatively, you can cool off at the end of the walk in the Schachen outdoor pool or visit the Summertime.
