Walk from Aarau Cantonal Hospital via old town and Alpenzeiger

The walk leads from the Cantonal Hospital along Bachstrasse to the old town of Aarau. There you can stroll comfortably and stop for a break. Then it continues north along the Aare River to the city’s viewpoint, the Alpenzeiger, where you have a wonderful view of Aarau’s old town and – in good weather – all the way to the Alps. It’s worth taking a break here; there is a nice fire pit and a shelter with seating. On the return route to the Cantonal Hospital, there is another opportunity to stop in the old town.
