Walk between tradition and modernity

Matthias Hüppi, president of the oldest football club in continental Europe, can be found in his free time not only at the edge of the field. He also likes to visit the Stiftsbibliothek St.Gallen and is fascinated by the beautiful Baroque hall, which, by the way, may only be visited wearing felt slippers. He likes to eat bratwurst at the Wirtschaft zur alten Post and enjoys the rustic and authentic atmosphere. The Theater St.Gallen is also one of Hüppi’s favorite places. Like his football club, it has a long history and is the oldest three-discipline theater in Switzerland.
