W8 Abländschen - Bire - Mittelberg - Grubenberg - Abländschen

From the Jaungrund bus stop, hike up the diverse and idyllic Schwylaub forest to reach the Bire.  The trail continues to Chaltläger and from there to the Mittelbergpass. After that it gets a little steeper to reach the Grubenberghütte. In the right season, it is now time for refreshments and to enjoy the view. Afterwards, it's a relatively quick and direct return to the starting point.
