Via Jacobi

The path starts in Kreuzlingen. After leaving the town, you first pass the Bernrain Pilgrims' Chapel before the pilgrim path leads to the wetland near Bommen. Then it continues via Ellighausen and Lippoldswilen to the hamlet of Rueberbaum on the Ottenberg. Soon the stage destination Weinfelden is reached.

Now the hike at the hamlet of Holzhäusern joins the Via Jacobi. Via Affeltrangen, the path leads past Tobel to the Chapel of St. Margaretha. On the further way you reach Sirnach. Past the well-known Martinskapelle in Oberwangen, the pilgrim path leads to Fischingen Monastery.

• Hiking trail: Weinfelden - Holzhäusern / Route 4, Via Jacobi: Holzhäusern - Fischingen
