Description
From the village square in Chamues-ch the alpine path begins into the wild romantic Val Chamuera. At first the valley is narrow, but soon widens. Always following the Ova da Chamuera, barbecue areas invite you to a well-deserved break until suddenly the imposing white building appears ahead—the Alp Serlas. This majestic and architecturally perfect building is one of the most important alpine farmsteads of the canton of Graubünden from the 19th century. Originally designed as a dairy and inhabited in winter until 1836, today it is used only for summer operations. Alp Serlas is also the turning point of this route.
