Urnerboden - Braunwald

Take the PostBus up towards Urnerboden, the largest alp in Switzerland, located before the Klausen Pass. The hiking trail starts at the PostBus stop "Kantonsgrenze", beginning with a short, steep zigzag path up to Alp Unterfriteren. From there, follow the wide path to Rietberg, located above Rietalp Unterstafel. From Unterstafel, you can reach the Nussbuel restaurant in less than 15 minutes, where you can take a well-deserved break.

From Nussbuel, you reach the Braunwald cable car mountain station in about an hour on an almost level and comfortably easy path.
