Urbachtal for connoisseurs

he mountain trail from Innertkirchen to Unterstock winds up a steep, rocky slope in the forest. The terrace-like plain of Syteli offers a beautiful panoramic view from the Engelhorn chain over the Hasliberg to the Grimsel region. Meadows, pastures and copses run through it like a mosaic. In the middle of it lies the hamlet of Unterstock. The area is attractively structured with boulders, cairns, dry stone walls, fruit trees and small ponds. It also has a great wealth of species. Due to its high quality, this landscape was awarded the cultural landscape prize of the Oberland-Ost region in 2017. First on a small road, then on a well-maintained forest path, the trail leads leisurely up the flank of the Loibstock to Loibalp, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Urbach valley and the surrounding mountains.

Follow the same route back to Unterstock, from there down to Urbachwasser and partly on the valley road back to Innertkirchen.
